Alasdair is a masterful tradition bearer for Scottish fiddle music. His virtuosic, expressive playing and deep understanding of his native music is an inspiration to generations of musicians on both sides of the Atlantic. He has performed with cellist Natalie Haas since 2003, and guested with many, including the Chieftains, Waterboys, Itzhak Perlman, and on film sound tracks. Alasdair founded Scottish fiddle camps in California, Scotland, Spain and Australia.
